The country of Mozambique highly relies on the overall output of its agricultural sector to which, accounts to 40% of the country’s GNP. In a study, half of Mozambique’s land area is suitable for growing crops. However, only 10 percent of the land is being utilized for farming. Among their major exports are sugar, copra and citrus. However, there are other promising sources of economic output for Mozambique such as utilizing their vast woodland for exporting timber.
